Urgent! Ee file rejected due to missed deadline for additional information

hello all, kindly help.
One of our friends received a letter asking additional family information on 25aug 2020 and deadline was 7 days. He submitted information on 30 aug but on 9th sep, he recieved refusal letter saying that they havent recieved requested information. Can we contact cic and ask them for reconsideration as he genuinely submitted information within timeline.

Raise a webform with all of the proofs that he submitted the required document on time and ask them to open your application again.

Same thing happened to my friend, even after submitting additional document in time, they still rejected. Submitted a web form, used a lawyer, went to our local MP to help, still CIC stood by the rejection, frustrating experience. Hope your friend gets better luck

This is very unfortunate. Ideally they should give more time. And also rejections is very unfortunate as this is not at all affecting their points
