Hello Everyone.
I have applied for Paper based PR process on 18 September. My Work Permit will be expiring next year in December.
I have nomination from OINP - International student stream.
Can I apply for work permit extension now ? Please advise what documents will be needed ? Has anyone applied for extension ?
Thank you!
My WP was expiring in Nov20 but I applied in July and got my WP extended in weeks time

Mine is BC PNP and they provided support letter for WP when I got BC PNP. this I got before applying for PR, and it has nothing to do with AOR.
I gave following documents:
1. employment letter
2. My employer created Job in employer portal and paid employer compliance fee
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/partners-service-providers/employer-portal/user-guide.html
3. I added support letter given to me by BCPNP
4. other documents like passport etc...

Thanks for your infor. I also have the support letter by BC PNP. I don't really understand why there is a 2nd document needed in your list. Do the BC PNP letter could replace the AOR ? Could you please explain more. I 'm currently working on open work permit (i follow my wife's study permit and she graduated but HAVE NOT GOT JOB , so I cannot apply following the spouse stream) so I have to submit the WP extension which is based on my PNP nomination.

THank you very much
Here is the supporting document for BOWP

Thank you for your explanation, it has opened my eyes. (I only know that we can apply BOWP, just found out after reading your post) May I ask if you applied for work permit extension under below stream (I found it in the support letter.):
This letter is to facilitate the issuance of an LMIA-exempt work permit pursuant to Annex A: Provincial Nominees of the Canada-British Columbia Immigration Agreement and under R204(c) for the individual captioned above. This letter is to be included in the work permit application.
The BC PNP confirms that all required factors for provincial support have been met. These factors include:
 that the nominee is urgently required by the employer listed above
 that the job offer is genuine and will create economic benefits or opportunities
 that the employment is not part-time or seasonal
 that the wages and working conditions would be sufficient to attract and retain Canadian citizens
This request is in accordance with IRCC’s Program Delivery Instructions for LMIA exemption code T13, found under the section titled “Foreign workers nominated by a province or territory”.
