Hi can someone please explain the basis of the tie breaker rule. The last draw had a tie breaking date of profiles submitted before 9th march while the one on 2nd September had a tie breaking date of 16th August. What can we expect in the next draws?

It really depends on the number of applicants in the pool. We can't make any guesses on which date it'll fall. Only IRCC knows.

There was a maintenance window put on CIC Window (yesterday 2 AM to 5.30 AM EDT) and a tweet as well that services will be unavailable yesterday.
As per the previous trend, anticipating an OINP Tech draw
Its been long we didnt get a French draw. Just saying :p

Hey guys I need some advice... submitted oinp application recently...went back to check again and noticed a small mistake...

Under a section were we indicate how much is available to us as settlement funds I indicated 12900 cad instead of 12960 cad Which is ircc requirement for a single applicant.

Although my pof as per documents submitted and letter of explanation is well in excess of the required amount.

Should I be worried? or do I contact them to make the correction?

I would like to ask, how long does it usually take before the IRCC provide updates to the AOR? A week? Two?
Around 2.5 weeks till MEP and BIL. IP 1 starts after that, for some almost immediately. For some (like me) IRCC took a few weeks to review the additional document.

AOR can be instant, like mine. Medicals passed is at around 1 month usually. 2 days after that, I got my biometrics request. To my knowledge, around 2 months after that it should be the eligibility confirmed update.

When will you know for sure that your application is complete and won't be returned as incomplete? Will you see MEP/BIL even if your application is determined to be incomplete later on?

I'm not sure about an email/PDF, but to my knowledge, we will see it on the EE profile, in the section currently referring to awaiting the eligibility check.

The eligibility and background checks will be updated with completion dates when you receive a final decision on your application. After the dates for MEP and BIL, we’ll only get the so-called ghost updates. Status of eligibility and background checks can be inquired via calls to IRCC, webform or GCMS notes.

So close to entering the pool! My IQAS application is in final review. However, I stupidly sent only my Masters degree to IQAS for ECA. Now i'm worried what if it is not given equivalence to Canadian Masters. In that case, in order to make my EE profile and claim points for 2 or more, will I have to get my Bachelors degree assessed as well?
