Still no AOR. 4 months now, unprecedented?

Does anyone know the method of how they inform you? I presume you get an email, and they don't just quietly update your cic.gc.ca page. That would be bad.

YES email comes to sponsor in which it should explain how to link it with gckeys /ecas

Do I need to activate something with the email? I just tried signing with my CGKey on cic.gc.ca and no luck. I'm sure I saved the login and password correctly (the username is my email)

Also are the processing times still the same even after AOR or will they speed it up to clear the backlog and get everyone processed within the 12 month time frame?

Application linking can be done even before one gets AOR 1 but sometimes not always.

Your AOR1 will be in around 30 weeks from now roughly...unprecendented for sure, as long as the Covid threat is with us, this is how its gonna be.

so I presume the AOR includes a link that lets me follow my appli online, but not before then, i was only confused because I have a separate GCkey for my older ETA and WHV applications, but we're made a new one for the spousal appli under my wife's name

YES my friend if the speed goes like this say 2 files in 5 months !! It could be total of anywhere from 1.5 years to 2 years for all of us from the receipt of app in Sydney NS , however if the pick up speed things can change dramatically
