Hello everyone,

I’m about to send my citizenship but got really confused like many regarding the 183 days in a row condition.

I used to live and work in Qatar during the first year of my 4 years, but never stayed there more than 183 since I’d go on vacations or business trip.

I also sent a Qatar police certificate in 2016 for my immigration application, but stayed few months in Qatar after it expiry date.

So here is my dilemma;
  1. Answer No, since even though I’ve lived in Qatar, I’ve never stayed 183 in a row there.
  2. Answer Yes, and provide the old copy of the police certificate and mention that this was already provided with my immigration.
Please let me know what would you do, I’m really confused.

Thank you.

Of course NO if you did not spend more than 183 days in a row, which is what the condition says. Technically, even if you spent one day outside Qatar after spending 182 days inside, you should be fine. Why else would they have a condition mentioning a specific (183) number of days.
