Hey all,

I have 448 points cec, and noticed that pre-covid levels were mostly 460+.
I did some silly things in IELTS which I can easily improve on, but just wanted some opinions on this score.

Do you guys know if they are analyzing our PR processes even without biometrics. Like, they start analyzing and leave the biometrics as the last thing?
Yes, IRCC will process your application as long as it’s complete. They can review your eligibility while waiting for your bio.

Got an ITA on Wednesday, submitted the application yesterday and immediately received the AOR. 17-month long twisty path from 463 to 458 to 466 to 474 finally reached a waypoint. Hopefully no more drama till the finish line :)

Good luck to everybody here waiting for an ITA!
What happened to your OINP application?

My current score now increased to 476 (FSW) and it will reduce to 470 on 20th Oct because of the age. I also received the OINP HCP nomination and last date to apply is 9th Oct. Please suggest - should i ignore OINP and hope that i get ITA before 20th Oct or I should not take risk and spend additional CAD 1500 by filling OINP too?

If you are under no time pressure to apply, you could choose to wait and see. There’s a good chance there’ll be an all programs draw on Sep 30th and you’d likely get an invite. If that doesn’t happen, you can consider the NOI.

Old trend says that when there are 5 Wednesdays in a month they generally do a FST draw instead on such last Wednesday therefore I am expecting an all program draw on 14th Oct and thats the dilemma!

The 5 Wednesday thingy is not a definite rule; sometimes it happens like that. So again, wait and watch works well for you right? If September 30 is FST, you can immediately apply to OINP.
