They put the visa on the first page of the passport as well you will receive an envelope with the official COPR that the immigration officer will witness the Applicant sign

Well they are also overworked, that explains some of, not all tho. I expect to get the final PPR / COPR next week i guess, but again.. it's not over until it is.

I’m tired of this waiting since CSQ sent in may silence and if I use webform is a generic reply only 18months next week

i understand. do you know if your case is under review ? i am at the same timeline around (like 19...). who knows how more it can wait for the final step to be sent.

We similar a lot nothing I have no idea is why we asked notes but even notes seem to take forever I just sent sent we form myself applicant maybe they tell me something last time they just extended medical then nothing

Well at least you didn't have to pay. It's still costly to get those exams. Ordered notes twice in the process, they never been such useful to be honest.

Unless you are on wait for interview,, they COULD say why and what's their concern in it but .. besides it , it's general things.

I just received my wife’s GCMS notes. They haven’t done anything since medical request. In 11th month now. eligibility, security and criminality not started.

We are in the same position - Sept applicant, application has been in Mexico since December. Eligibility and Security not started, info sharing not complete. No updates since the application was received by Mexico in December.

The file has been received in Mexico but has not been reviewed yet. Mexico is still in a high level of health alert because of the coronavirus pandemic. Accordingly, the Immigration section of the Canadian Embassy in Mexico City is currently working with essential staff only and providing essential urgent services through teleworking. This limits our ability to process paper-based applications such as permanent residence applications.

We received PPR this past Friday. Passports and all required documents were sent in to the Mexico City VAC today!
