I have been really unlucky :( I was at 477 when all programs draw happened in July 8 (Cutoff was 478). Then I lost points for age. Then next two all programs draws had 476 and 475. Now at 472, didn't get picked up due to Tie- Breaking date. I entered the pool late March, been waiting and waiting and ..... feeling so unlucky..
You are very close !!! Pray and Relax !! CANADA PR is not the end of the world !!

Not really. You know what to expect after ITA. 6 months max, if not for Covid, and 98% get PPR if you didn't supply false info. It's purely based on merit. You can appeal the decision, too. And no fears of stopping the program overall. Waiting for ITA is so uncertain. Lots of thoughts on whether they would cancel the FSW or never resume d draws etc.
Oh that’s totally correct. But you have cases which go to Local VO sometimes and aren’t touched for months on end , even with everything passed and cleared. Security screenings, Local Visa office delays, Review Required profiles etc.

There are so many hurdles still.

And yes there’s no question of FSW draws being stopped or cancelled permanently. These rumours keep circulating once every 3-4 years and prove to be false anyway

Been watching this for a while , just out of interest and wondering which program I should use to get my wife to Canada the fastest (spousal or FSW). It has been very informative. We decided to do FSW because of her PhD in public health from Johns Hopkins and being still young(33 yrs old) . So we applied just 2 weeks ago with a score of 474, and then today got the invite to apply for PR. Hope everyone will get their chance to bring their skills and culture to this great country.

472 is a good score. Just stay hold for another two weeks or a month. You are very close to your turn. Don’t feel bad about it

I'm just hoping they don't do FST draw or pnp/cec in 2 weeks. It'll be disastrous. I have been waiting since mid last year. My score is 471 and I'm even hoping I don't miss out with tie break rule as I re entered the pool recently. I hope it pans out well

Even though PNP/CEC happens in 2 weeks, the next cut off for FSW will be 471. The good news is, there will be no alternating of draws anymore, All program draw is back!!!

The 6-month rule does not apply anymore, and it has been like this for a while now, even pre-COVID period. I received ITA on May 1st 2019, submitted application May 6th, and only got my PR approved mid-January 2020. I am afraid to tell you that most of the May 2019 batch also took around 8+ months to have PR approved. Thus, I'd say embrace for 8+ months. In fact, some people from May 2019 are still waiting.

It's the way it was before COVID. The way, it would seem, the Government of Canada wants the EE system to ideally run.
How is it selfish? Didn't pnp/cec have draws for like 3 to 4 months non-stop? If FSW have 3 consecutive draws is it too much? Please take several seats.
Correct. All-program means everyone has a chance. If it was alternating between CEC/PNP and FSW-only draws, that's one thing. But it's not.

My fellow FSWs waited a long time, and now they're having their patience rewarded. :)

Do you guys know if they are analyzing our PR processes even without biometrics. Like, they start analyzing and leave the biometrics as the last thing?
