July 23, 2020 Got Bio-metric conformation letter
August 06, 2020 Submitted GCMS request
August 21, 2020 Received GCMS notes
August 31, 2020 Wrote to COVID-Travel exemption email
September 03, 2020 IRCC reply with " Application approved but not sending passport request now ..."
September 10, 2020 Reply to IRCC
September 14, 2020 Received email stating that they are going to send the passport request letter
September 14, 2020 Received the passport request letter.
October 15, 2020: travel to Canada

Congratulations ! Did your attorney requested GCMS Notes and also sent email to COVID-Travel exemption email ? or without letting attorney know you did these stuff yourself?

I requested GCMS note by myself and did all the email communication except the first one.

Thanks for your reply. Need to know did your employer attorney filled the work permit application for you ? I am asking because need to check can we do GCMS ourselves even though attorney filled the case.

Yes, my employer immigration attorney did the application. I did not even tell them I submitted GCMS note until I received the final notes. So regardless of who submit the application, you can always request gcms notes or ask someone to request it on your behalf.

I have not sent any employer letter to prioritize my request nor any web forms asking for status. I have returned to India and right now checking with my employer on how to proceed to submit the passports as VAC offices are closed. Will update once I hear next steps.

No premium processing nothing is working
We all have been waiting since months
We applied for GSS WORK PERMIT which takes 14 days to process and its been more than 3months since we haven’t heard anything

Congratulations What's your NOC ? what's reason you had given in webform? Did you provide letter from employer as well?
