Hi All,
I received the same letter above today and i am sending them the renewed passport copy,
However i have below questions please help me understand:

- After sending the passport copy, Would i wait another 5 months now to hear back from them? or my application would be treated differently ?
- For the 2nd point to update absence and re-sign re-date the application..
Shall i fill a new application from scratch? or update the old one which they sent to me along with the letter above ?

Please advise thank you!
Very sorry to hear that . I m assuming that we will start from the scratch again . I haven’t renew my passport yet and to get that done I will have to travel from Alberta to Montreal to get that done .

I'm Dreaming of July/2015
My application sent 28th may 2020 for pr renewal , just yesterday i recived an email acknowledging they recieved my application. My status now showing as “ in process” anybody has an idea how long that takes?

its mention in their letter to check the processing time which is shown currently on thier website as 165 days! a friend of mine who is also renewing his pr card called IRCC and was told that the processing time shoing on website is the time they START processing the application! And that he should add 1-2 months extra for PR card to be processed!!!!!!!

anybody recieved an “in process “ status?

Any Feedback would be appreciated.

The max time taken these days from AoR to mail out is approx 2 weeks and as low as 2 to 3 days. Decision made for your wife means 99% her renewal is approved next stage is card production and then it will mail out. Next update for her will be one day after the card is mailed out in ecas and same day on mycic

Mycic i can't link her application, as Place of Birth is a mandatory item which was left blank in her COPR, even though i wrote it correctly in IMM0008 form. Tried all combinations, not working to link her application.

In my case, its still In Process, both applications received together at IRCC office, AOR came same time (20 min difference) for both of us on Sep 10. ECAS says processing started on Sep 10 for both of us. But my wife status says Decision Made and for me, its In Process.

Its hard to understand how IRCC process things, may be our applications are wifh two different officers thats why two different status is showing for both of us.

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for contributing to this really useful thread. I have recently mailed an application for my first PR card after soft landing in 2018. Does anyone know if my processing time is more likely to be subject to the renewal/solemn declaration estimate or the estimate for a new card?

Thanks in advance.

An application getting decision made in one day means approved 99%

PR Renewal

Submitted an application on May 8, 2020. RO has been met.

I have not received AOR yet, should i be worried? Does it take this long to send AOR? I do see people submitted on May 28th and got AOR in sep 1. Do i need to contact cic and inquire?

Any thoughts? Thanks.

I sent mine around same time as you and still waiting on AOR too. I wouldn’t worry too much!

Mine is received on May 5th and i got my AOR on Sept 10th. Most probably you will get your AOR soon this week.
Whats your ECAS status ? IN Process or Decision Made ?

Me and my wife too got AOR on Sep 10, our applications were received on May 27.
