PR renewal during Covid

My application for rnewal reached the 28th of may and i didnt hear anything yet!

Could sombody please explain what u guys mean by” there are no updates in system yet!” Dont they contact us by email! Or there is another way to check the processing of our pr !

According to their website, if you don’t see your application showing in your profile, and you have a track on your mail so you know it arrived there, then it usually means that your application hasn’t been processed yet. Basically, its a slightly nicer way of saying that your application is physically in their building, but sitting in a pile that no one has touched yet.

I sent mine with my citizenship application (as two different packages). this was sent june 22, still haven't heard anything.

No biometric for pr card renewal

Yes, sorry about not mentioning that before. I requested an urgent processing related to my relative critical illness and urgency to travel overseas. So, that might impact the timelines. I haven’t received any confirmation whether the case was considered as “urgent” though.

Hi, I have submitted doctor's note, flight tickets and bank statement showing the tickets have been payed.

Did you get the dr. Note for your illness from a Canadain doctor OR it was from your relative illness from abroad?

From relative illness from abroad. I did certified translation with affidavit.

Just to update you guys. My application sent 28th may 2020 for pr renewal , just yesterday i recived an email acknowledging they recieved my application. My status now showing as “ in process” anybody has an idea how long that takes?

its mention in their letter to check the processing time which is shown currently on thier website as 165 days! a friend of mine who is also renewing his pr card called IRCC and was told that the processing time shoing on website is the time they START processing the application! And that he should add 1-2 months extra for PR card to be processed!!!!!!!

anybody recieved an “in process “ status?

Any Feedback would be appreciated.

You will get your renewed card in next 2-3 weeks, given that your case is a straight fwd one with out too many travels or have plenty of days (at least 2-3 months) on top of required 730 days
