Changing Address after Virtual oath invite

Hello Everyone,

I hope you all are staying safe during this pandemic.

I'll be moving out this weekend to a new place and won't have access to mailbox after. I've virtual oath scheduled for tomorrow(9th Sept). So to receive the citizenship certificate, should I update the address on ecas or just ask them to mail it on new address during oath ceremony? If i change my address on ecas, will there be any impact on my file now?

They will confirm your address during the oath. you can mention about the change.

Online update just takes only 2 days. why dont you update it today and it will get reflected before they send out the certificate.
Also as other member said you can give the right address during oath but its better you update it online too soon so that no one misses out.
You have oath tomorrow and why would it change/affect anything within tomorrow for address change.

Just use the mail forwarding facility from canada post...they will forward all the post to new address for a small fee
