For people who have taken the oath, do we need to print out the affirmation form before the ceremony?

Yes, then sign it and scan it.. then send it back to the same email address you received it from. The second option is to sign electronically, the instructions for that will be in the email.

No , you choose one of them... regarding the form you can write your name only ... signature and date must be in front of the officer... good luck

Its still mandatory for all. Whoever is receiving oath invite were done with their test and/or interview in/before Mar.

My application started in September 2018, I had my citizenship test a year later in September 2019, then in February 2020 my MP told me they just finished the security background check which is the final step in February and to expect an invitation within weeks, now it's September 2020 and my MP's office just told me they're just waiting for one more verification that isn't security related and the oath will be scheduled, I'm lost because now it's taken two years and I still don't have an oath invitation and my online status is still In Progress, what do you suggest I do next? btw my application is filed in Ottawa, which idk if they're doing virtual oath ceremonies or not?

It changes to complete once your processing office sends you the citizenship certificate.
That means it can happen anytime from tomorrow!

No line has been added, to my ecas, I got invited on August 28th, Oath Sept 1st, it still says DM. But then again I am dealing with Edmonton I am not surprised.

Can you please let me know once it says complete on your ecas. I have also completed my oath on sept 4. But not showing complete yet. Just showing DM.
I thought the certificate comes home with 2 weeks.
