Really depends on where you are. Would apply as soon as possible. There do seem to be some new PRTD email addresses. Where are you from?

Hi,I also applied for prtd a month ago but didn’t get any response yet.Would be highly appreciated if you can share how long it took for processing in your case,Thanks.

Mine took two weeks approximately. I got my visa stamped on my passport with multiple entries

Mine also took something like 2 and a half weeks total, though much of the delay was missing documentation, and VAC not emailing me the paid-for labels.
