u have mentioned in one of your posts earlier your pay is not that great anyway its better u order GCMS notes u should have done that after first refusal. Canada visa is the hardest to get especially for people from countries like india , pakistan etc. i think you are single and that is a big drawback on top of that u don't own any property that is registered under your name. invitations from friends do not help only from blood relations. i am sure in your GCMS notes it will be mentioned single female, low income, lack of ties to home country and mostly travelled as minor.
I dont think I can be categorised under ‘low income’ at all as far as Indian standards are concerned. Somewhere in the middle tier.
The first refusal was for two reasons, family ties to home country and purpose of visit. The second refusal was only due to one reason ie purpose of visit. Doesnt that mean something?
i have travelled as much as an adult as i have as an adult.

How does one go about ordering GCMS notes?

ask your friend in Canada to order GCMS on your behalf. above mentioned reasons for refusal are generic ,IRCC issues that on every refusal letter that is why people order GCMS to know the real reason. number of reasons do not matter they all are generic. from 2 reasons to 1 is in no way a positive sign in a refusal letter. if you order today u will get your GCMS notes by 1st week of may unless there is delay to Covid -19.
Yes I reckon that is the only logical step at this point.
You're right I probably should have ordered these notes after I got my first rejection, but these forms gave me a boost to reapply soon enough by producing more solid documents and further details - which is what I thought brought it down to one reason.

Surely the reasons have some significance? I mean for instance they didnt have an issue with my finances or travel history ?

Thank you!

To clarify: Itinerary of 3 cities =

- Toronto - stay at friends place - Canadian citizen who also gave me an invitation letter. And the invitation states that my days in TORONTO will be spent at my friends place and the rest of my trip is on my own arrangements.

- niagara falls - paid hotel booking
- ottawa - paid hotel bookings

I don't see how i contradict myself?

I applied for a student visa on 6 July 2020 under SDS category. With all Supporting document. I got a rejection today Stating :

Thank you for your interest in studying in Canada. After careful review of your study permit application and supporting documentation, I have determined that your application does not meet the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) and Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations (IRPR). I am refusing your application on the following grounds:
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident, as stipulated in paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR, based on the purpose of your visit.
You are welcome to reapply if you feel that you can respond to these concerns and can demonstrate that your situation meets the requirements. All new applications must be accompanied by a new processing fee.

I am attaching my SOP for reference. Any suggestions will be highly appreciated. Please help Asap . How should I apply again for Jan intake. Sep is anyhow gone now .

FINANCIAL CAPABILITIES

I have paid one-year tuition fees (CAD $15,560) to St. Clair College and purchased GIC of $10,000 with CIBC bank to meet SDS requirement
. I belong to a small, warm family where my father did M.Ed. and established himself as an educator in government sector and got retired last year as a government school principal, whereas my mother did her M.Ed. and also established herself in the education field and is currently working as a principal in government school. I am married in a family that is equally supportive, warm and welcoming and encourage me in all my endeavors. My husband is a Software Testing engineer in Delhi. The annual income of my family is approx. 12 lacs. We do have ancestor Properties in Uttar Pradesh Worth of 2 Crore. Therefore, we are financially capable and have enough funds to support my stay and study in Canada.

ACADEMICS, EXPERIENCE AND COURSE RELEVANCY.

Over the course of these four years pursuing my bachelor’s degree. I have knowledge of Programming, Algorithms, Database Management, and Engineering Mathematics etc., which are required for the course in Data Analytic for business. Looking at my academic performance, I cleared my degree program of B. Tech in Information Technology with Honours and I achieved Award of Excellence from our institute. Besides this, I am one of the excellent scoring post graduates in my department with good academics and research work. Furthermore, this Masters course has grounded me with a technological depth of knowledge in analysis, design, implementation and use of information technology core as well as specialization skills. I completed my thesis on Evaluating Seed Germination Monitoring System by Application of Wireless Sensor Networks at Council of scientific and industrial research –CSIO India, where I have generated a research database for crop monitoring across the world.

I am currently working as an Assistant professor in department of Computer science in an Engineering college. These mentoring roles of mine have edified me with all facets of technical and functional specifications. By now, I have gained an expertise in concepts of computers and information system. In addition to this, I have organised several volunteer programs as Event Organizer and Coordinator with Technical Clubs, The aim of gaining more knowledge (theoretical & practical) and technical skills are the superior objectives of my life. To fulfill my desires and have Professional qualification from abroad & international skill set have influenced me to pursue a full time program in Data Analytics for Business from abroad.

WHY DATA ANALYTICS FROM ST. CLAIR COLLEGE?

Data analytic field is the fastest growing in today’s era and it will increase to $40.6 Billion by 2023. Moreover, data analytics skills comes under the most demanding field in IT industry of India. So, I decide to go for Post degree diploma in Data Analytics to give my career a push. I feel that my post graduate degree in Information Technology fits neatly within the purview of Post Graduate Diploma in Data analytics for business. Employers prefer personnel with the ability to analyse, model and interpret data, I have worked on developing the same skill set during my Masters and bachelors Program in Information Technology however having specialised qualification in Data Analytics will further add on to my existing know-how of the field and will make me more employable in India & abroad.

The Data Analytics for Business program will help me to visualize past, present, and future patterns by linking and presenting information in meaningful ways. This type of detailed and defined information will enable me to effectively predict trends, understand the needs of customers, as well as make more informed business decisions. I will learn a unique blend of theoretical knowledge, advanced applicable skills and large scale data manipulation, how to collect, curate, encode, and store data sets, which can be analyzed and mined in ways that can be reused and repurposed to solve challenges and predict future patterns for business decision making. Courses like basic statistics and exploratory data analysis, Introduction to artificial intelligence, Information management, Analytic tools and decision making, advanced statistics for data analytics, project management analytics, Marketing analytics, Supply chain analytics etc. will help me to enhance my basics of data analyst.

St. Clair known to provide outstanding facilities in regard to all round development of any student. I believe that with my recent qualification and work experience, I will be able to bring better perspective into my post graduate studies. This will help me push myself as confident that I have determination, exposure and motivation to make a meaningful contribution to my chosen field. During my research on the prospective country for my graduate studies, Canada always came across as the most suitable country because of its amicable environment for international students, research and innovation based education system and the low crime rate. Also, education from a developed country like Canada is highly valued and sought after in the Indian management sector as such candidates.

FUTURE PLANS

Over 2.5 quintillion bytes of data is being created every day on our planet which leads to increase the demand to envision that data and use it has gone sky rocketed. Many MNC’s predicted that by 2023 demand for Data Scientist will increase to 45% in India. The skills I will gain through this program will enable me to continue my career as a Data Scientist, Data Analyst, Big Data Admin or Business Analyst in my home country. After completion of post graduate certificate, I would like to come back to India to be with my family and would like to work with leading Multinational firms in India such as Wipro, Evalueserve, and Fiserv etc., as a Data Analyst or Data architect.

My husband has provided full support in my decision of pursuing higher studies from Canada as he also believes that further education will open up more avenues for me and will help me become a successful and consistent professional. He, therefore, would be eagerly waiting for me to come back to him with this enriched exposure and as a more confident person. I do have responsibilities towards my laws and my parents and therefore, I intend to return back home to take care of them in their yester years

your choice of course makes no sense if you are an assistant professor in CS as a university.

Oh, one cannot pursue a twist in career path / learning in Canada? I feel parluppa might have to contact CIBC for a early mature or wait for the GIC to mature to get the money back. Also, request refund from the college.

What Supporting documents should I add to show myself as a genuine student. Because I am really interested to pursue this as my future career. I want to learn about data analytics and even when I come and join my university atleast i'd be able to give my students a relevant guidance which is more practical rather than theoretical.
