Medical pass

Hi Everyone...
I submitted my application under CEC category on December 2019.
After almost 9 months I just got an update saying medical is passed!!!!!
Is that normal???
And I had upfront medical exam!!!
Did it happen before? Does it mean they just started my application after 9 months??????!!!!!

I guess normal is 1 month, if they dont find any issue in upfront exam report. If they do find then they ask for additional test. But never heard its suddenly passed after 9 months.
Congrats... Are other items still under process.

Honestly everything is under processing, I just got shocked that I got this update, don’t know if they just started to process mine, that is sooooo frustrating

They were processing my criminality before my medicals were reviewed. When I called CIC then, the rep had told me that sometimes they leave the medicals until later because it's one of the easiest stages. It might be the case with yours? It might also be your medicals were expired and they were extending it? when did you do your medicals?

My medical exam was upfront and it was for couple months before submitting the application, since my application was submitted on December 2019, medical still has not expired.
did you get your PR?
How did that go for you??

I don't think you should worry! You can always call them and ask, or even better would be to order your GCMS notes which has all the details.

You never made contact with CIC during these 9 months to ask for status update? If not, I applaud your patience! I've ordered GCMS notes 3 times and have called them a few times too haha I've passed all the stages and currently awaiting final decision by the senior officer.

Well, haha , I did contact, they responded that it’s still in process and blah blah blah
I ordered the notes already almost 3 weeks ago, nothing yet,
The thing is Everyday I’m thinking that today will come today will come but nothing shows up.
But , thaaaaaanks for you responding, gives me more relief
