Quebec is usually slower due to CSQ.

I don't believe the details of this expedited process have been posted yet (at least not to the best of my knowledge). I think we'll need to wait until this info comes out before we'll know exactly how this works.

Yes, as said above, you should qualify as long as you were hired by an organization and not a private individual.

I have come to Canada in October 2019 and after receiving my work permit i worked in healthcare industry as healthcare worker from March till now full time 40 hrs per week i never stopped working? So how can i be eligible for the process is it fast track?

What exactly did you do? Healthcare worker isn’t specific enough to determine if you qualify.

No. Would monitor the government website. Could be a few week or eveb over a month until thy have figured out all the details. They may have only agreed to the general outline of the program and now the bureaucrats need to create the program, forms, etc.

I am asking because I have been working in a long-term care and I was hired as a Covid-19 essential worker for which my duties are anywhere from screening the staffs for body temperature to re-directing residents to their room when they get lost from the building (dementia). Please help and thanks in advance.

I think the job is under Institutional aide but it is kinda vague. It was called Essential Worker for Covid-19 at the hiring time. Thank you for answer Nelan, it is greatly appreciated.
