Background check for Study Visa

Hi members,

I need your help and suggestions, I'm a IT professionals with 5years of experience.
And am planning for MS in Canada for this 21Jan intake. But really worried about my university since it was seized due to some scam by issuing fake degrees and now government doing investigation for the same.
And at present university is not supporting for verification and may take few more months to resume.

Please let me know now if I apply for study permit visa officer will go for the background check?

Please confirm me any one!!!.
I'm really in bad situation.

I Krishna Please do let me know if you get answer from anywhere I am also planning for JAN21 intake. but due to university I am worried. even I am worried that whether I should switch my job or not.
