Proof of fund issue

Hi Everyone -

I had some issues with proof of funds. I had savings account with HSBC bank.
The HSBC bank won't provide the letters following the IRCC requirements. They stated that they only provide the monthly statements of the direct saving accounts.
Has anyone occurred the same issues? How could I handle with this?

Hi, I had the same with Barclays. I wrote an LoE explaining what the bank said and detailing all the documents I attached instead. Then I attached bank statements for the previous 6 months for all my accounts, welcome letters from when I opened my accounts (so that IRCC can see the dates when these were opened) and the email from the bank saying what they can issue instead of a letter.

I have not heard back yet (my application was submitted on 23rd August), but am fairly confident this is ok, based on what other applicants have said on this forum.
