This topic is not really an immigration question but I bet there are lots of inland applicants that have these two questions in mind including me.
1- Why I can't use the same biometric that they collected in VAC (for permits) for my PR application? Considering the fact that there are at least more than seven years for that fingerprint to expire and as an adult, I know that it is going change after that.
Now that because of the pandemic all Service Canada locations are closed for biometric collection.
2-Why we can't use commissionaires to do the biometrics?
As far as I know, they do the same digital fingerprint and it is not like that the government doesn't trust them.
I guess when they open Service Canada centres the system is going to overload since they have been closed since March and a lot of people are waiting for them to reopen.
