Passports to Accra Visa Office !

Hello everyone, any update on our passport in Accra.

No update. I called Lagos VFS on Monday and the response was that our passports are yet to be returned from the embassy.

Please, anyone knows the current timeline for passport processing at Accra Ghana Embassy?
I submitted my passports directly to Accra VFS office on July 26th and got a message on July 30th stating it been delivered and been processed at the embassy. But till date no response and my CIC account hasn't been updated.

Any idea of timeline guys?

Hi Elozonto, I don't know if there is a timeline for that, but mine took a total of 10 days, from VFS global to IRCC & back to VFS global. It got to VFS global, Accra on July 20, 2020 & was couriered from VFS global, Accra on July 30, 2020. But I learnt about someone who's visa issuance took more than a month after it got to VFS global, Accra.
So, my suggestion would be that you track it with the application tracking number or message VFS global, Accra to know the status of your application.
Like that, you'll get all the answers you need.

Oh OK, I see! But I don't think you can depend on a precise timeline for that, but if you search online, you'll see timeline ranging from 5 days to way way beyond.
I would also suggest you compare those of your visa category during your search to get a better idea.

I couldn't access that account, so I relied on email notifications from IRCC & VFS global, while I message them when I need more info.

Good morning guys, has anyone collected his/her passport back from Accra of late? I don't know if they are processing passports. I submitted my passport since March 12 and till now nothing has changed in my application. The tracking message is the same.

Same here. Mine was submitted 9th March. I thought with VFS reopening, things would change but the tracker update still shows passport was forwarded to Visa office. No update of receipt by the embassy. Web forms are also not adding any value to status request. I wish i had sent my passport directly to Accra.

Don't know if this can help as I haven't tried it yet as my passport was submitted a month ago

I tried once unfortunately, they both sent out generic responses and directed me to use the Web form which also gives generic responses. I guess we just have to keep waiting . They really don't care that you are being denied access to
your passport for other uses.
