If his autism is mild, you should be absolutely fine.Hi All,
I am new to this forum. I am planning to apply for Permanent residency. My son has mild autism, will this affect our application in any way and will this lead to rejection of my application.
Thanks in advance
Andy
This is old and they haven't completely eliminated it as yet.You have nothing to worry about. 'The government will no longer be allowed to reject permanent resident applications from those with serious health conditions or disabilities.'

Yeah but isn't the point that with mild autism, he's got nothing to worry about? Reforms are being put in place for major ones. They've tripled the threshold to nearly $20k.This is old and they haven't completely eliminated it as yet.
Yes, of course I agree with you (no worries with mild autism), but when I first saw the link I thought that it was a new update and as I began to read it, I realized that it was from 2018. That's what I was pointing out.Yeah but isn't the point that with mild autism, he's got nothing to worry about?
Unfortunately nothing. Thanks for your reply Eithan. Any update on your application.
Wishing you luck
Andy
