Got rejection after receiving AIP

No he was planning on starting this fall online and he didn't change his institute..

Was he deported / overstayed from any other country? Was his interview conducted after the AIP?

So one of my friends from Pakistan got his AIP on 14 August and received refusal today 31 August. How can it be possible and one of the reasons was purpose of visit which is checked in eligibility stage so what the heck is going on IRCC gone nuts

Are you able to share his complete profile? Previous educational history, the college and program he applied for, and whether he applied through SDS or non SDS. This is unreal!

This is crazy. Is second stage started? Isn’t 2nd stage is for medical, PCC and biometrics?? Think like they are giving AIP blindly and then later refusing. It’s now very scary to even think of starting online class..

was his application complete before AIP? like biometric and medical? or he gave those after AIP?

They have stated travel history, which can be revealed with fingerprints,l. To me it looks like he has not disclosed required travel history which came to light after fingerprints were taken and that seemed suspicious to IRCC. If you don't mind can you think if this could be the reason??

Applied for masters program at Windsor uni under sds.
