an update on my application without giving me an email

-Applied for the study permit on 21th july 2020
-done my biometrcs on 7th august 2020
-from Pakistan NON sds

I opened my application everyday just to check if ive received an aip or not and today i checked that my Review of eligibility changed and it said the following: We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
i was wondering if thats how it is when u apply for the first time or is my eligibility getting reviewed right now. Im saying this because i didnt receive an email regarding this change or when i signed into my application, under the current status it said Read instead of Application/Profile update. So its hella weird they did that.

Also how long do they take to respond if you have received an AIP or not when ur Review of eligibility changes to what ive received... Ive heard that after 2-3 days u get an aip response but making sure so please respond

It happened to me too, just yesterday I found out that it changed to starting review my eligiblilty (about ine day after the email that was sent to many people)

Great. I know someone who applied on 19th July but SDS and no change to the profile yet.

The wait will mostly depend on how easy it is for them to verify the info in your application. For me, it changed yesterday or the day before.

when I checked my application on my phone it was Application/Profile update and when checked on my computer its back to Submitted... any idea?

I had the same story.. I noticed that the status under "Review of eligibility" had changed from "Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start reviewing your eligibility." to "We are reviewing whether you meet eligibility requirements."
