Hey did you applied for work permit from Nova Scotia...I applied last year from ns but was not given work permit...reason was you need to get it from home country...but now I am waiting for pr...things have got delayed too much due to covid

I applied from my home country. I only recently arrived to Nova Scotia and I will likely have to go back if I don't get my PR before the work permit expires, unless Immigration is granting some extensions due to the delays caused by covid-19.

I know things have affected due to covid...I am here waiting for pr ...my timeline completed in jan 2020...still under process...everyone case is different...hope you get pr soon

Pre-arrival letter on Feb 2020
Since that date they still doing background check. ‍♂‍♂‍♂

I called CIC yesterday, unfortunately there was no clear answer of any of the questions I asked. I told them officially I have already passed the six months this program should take and yet haven't received AOR, he said “there is no time limit any more, just wait”, then I told him if they are gonna give any priority to such cases who passed their time limit, he said” unfortunately we don't have any priority for PR applications right now”...
These news literally crushed me, I just feel this is the end of life! I’m thinking of giving up. I am so tired.

Could someone please help me understand how this works? if I am outside Canada, how do I apply under AIPP?
1- First I need a job offer from a designated employer, right?
2- Being outside Canada, how is it possible to get a job offer from a designated employer?

Can anyone please shed a light and share their experience on how to get a job offer if you are outside Canada?
