Confusion about PNP qualification related to job offer condition.

Hi, I have read through details about the various PNP's. Similar to some other streams, the BC PNP tech pilot statement in one of the articles was:

"In order to be considered eligible for under the Tech Pilot, candidates need to be registered in one of B.C.’s existing provincial immigration streams and have a valid job offer of at least 12 months in one of the Tech Pilot’s eligible occupations." (Reference to the article below)

A typical applicant wil be applying from outside Canada for immigration. It is almost impossible to get a job offer when outside the country.

How can then one fulfill the eligibility requirements for the BC tech pilot sream of a valid job offer?

I do understand the statement. What I enquired, however, was about the actual, practical situation that this statement implies. After extensive search the only thing that comes up is that getting a job offer while outside canada is virtually impossible. Getting work permit also requires a job offer. If this is the reality, then what does the statement above signify. That one has to be in Canada, get a job offer and then apply forthe tech pilot?

Nobody on this forum is likely to have this insider info. Probably to early for even BC to know with all this uncertainty. There is likely to be some sort of similar program

Thank you for your time to answer but I am looking for clarification rather than a statement like the one you have posted. I am trying to see if I understand the condition properly or whether it actually is a Catch22 condition that to enter the stream I need a job offer and to get a job offer I need to be in Canada.

It is not a Catch-22. You don't have to be physically in Canada to get a job offer. However, in practice, I believe that individuals hired from overseas have a connection to their employer. I would really be surprised if Canadian employers are plucking foreign nationals off the job bank and offering them employment.
