Yes, I do. I don’t need it urgently, however, I want her to visit me here as I cannot tarvel to her country and stay longer than 2 weeks. I haven’t seen her for more than 10 years.

MP letters generally don't really help at all. I wouldn't bother unless the MP personally knows you and/or your mom.

There may be concerns about their desire for them to remain in Canada longterm since it looks like they never moved. It will be important to show very strong ties to their home country if that is the case.
