Can we assume that every applicant apply from USA and get AIP recently will get approved second stage very soon?
Yeah, I think applicant from USA regardless of your foreign passport would likely get approved for second stage soon. I would think second stage will be between 15/9 to late Sept. or beginning of October.
Do u think those applicants who submitted complete applications got AIP recently are most likely to get approved second stage?
It is not mine application though. But it is from a person that I know got it.
I attended the IRCC webminar and they revealed that 2nd stage is to check ur criminal record (fingerprint) again & any fraudulent documents u submitted. Basically, it is a validation step, and they will not check for LOA; application again.
If you get anything new, please let people here know as well and keep informed with the ur application. That would help a lot!!!!
Congratulations to those who have received their AIP or approval. Is anyone here who have NOT received any update yet? I still do not have a biometric correspondence letter, AIP, or any update. It seemed that most of you who submitted in May or June have already got some kind of update. Today is the 5th month from the day that I submitted my application. I wonder if IRCC have forgotten about my application.

Congratulation to the person that you know on getting approved. Did this person first received their AIP then the approval letter, or did they get their approval letter right away?
I have heard that even when you receive a final approval, you will not be requested to send passport until the travel ban is lifted, is it true?
My GCMS note says "passport req" generated but not dispatched. So, looks like it is true.
