Does anyone know if IRCC will grant extension to medical expiry dates? I'm afraid that at the speed they are currently going, medicals/PCC will easily expire

When will your medicals expire? My parents' medicals expire in October. I am also concerned. If they don't increase the validity, they will have to travel 8 hours to and fro for medicals again.

Got an email which states request letter. They have asked for valid passport copy which has more than 12 months validity for my father. As his passport is expiring on June 2021. Also asked for voter and adhaar card for both father and mother. Is anyone else in the same situation. We are going to apply for tatkaal passport in India.

Have they got their medicals done already?

Yes the medicals are done in November 2019 and they have given us 3 months to submit the new passport which is 11/24/2020. There medical will also expire 11/24/2020.

I am in the same boat as you, just that I am waiting for DM on Principal applicant (my dad), is your VO CPC-Mississauga?

As school and voters and aadhar card don't have that info either

June 20 2019. Received request for additional document in October and got biometric payment request today

hopefully this means they are back to normal capacity....
Lot of us who sent applications in June haven't heard updates since AOR

If all else fails, Please contact Indian High Commission to get the birth certificate.

Have a same question. My file is getting closer to PPR. But my youngest sister is with my mom application. I checked on website and guess that my mom can travel now but not sure about the dependants on application.

No dependents because it is only parents who meet the travel restrictions. Assume they have a TRV or supervisa.

Until the travel restriction/rules are loosened, your brother cannot come validate his COPR along with your parents at the same time. He could still come (as a visitor) but will not be able to complete his landing unless your parents have become PR first.

I'd suggest following the latest IRCC/CBSA guideline - at the end of the day MP isn't the immigration expert and has no jurisdiction on the border policy.

He doesn't qualify as a visitor either until travel restrictions are relaxed.

Wondering if there are still people here who are in the same boat as us. I applied in Jun last and there haven't been any updates. I have been trying to check status on monthly basis but no progress. Any guidance is appreciated. I have read here about order GCMS notes .. have people had success with that? Is there any other way to track application or get hold of CIC ?
