In your initial POF do you have enough funds for 2 people? . Technically they don't need, but I guess it's always up for review.
A39-41 could be non compliance due to POF or background check which needs to be cleared by an officer.

I didn't mean to scare you! But if your status hasn't changed from the time you submitted the application and now you don't have anything to worry!. It gets cleared/cancelled in most of the cases. Hopefully the next notes will have it as "cancelled".

Added spouse July 8 ; eligibility was passed before then.
Spouse UCI updated August 11
GCMS revealed medical passed same day with UCI update
Awaiting BIO now
Other req : not started
Criminality : changed to in progree
Security : changed to not started

Is it in all cases files are transferred to local vo closest to PA's location?

May I ask what appears in other reqs for you? Is it something with non-compliance? Cause I have the same thing.

The spouse is granted a pr directly, so a work permit will not be necessary for the spouse as a PR is sufficient to apply for work anywhere in Canada.

Can I add my spouse to the application without the marriage certificate? it takes around 6 weeks to receive the document so I was wondering if anyone did that and attached the proof of the certificate order. thanks!

1st CSE to update about marriage: Jan 20, 2019
got request for below additional documents on 17th April 2019 and they gave one week to submit (24,april,2019)

separate imm5406 for me, spouse
marriage certificate
passport,/birth certificate

1.any one have more information about adding all required documents (police clearance, e-mediacal, other documents) as they asked only marriage certificate, passport, imm 5406 forms

2.were they asked above mentioned documents(marriage certificate, passport, imm 5406 forms) to add my spouse to my existing PR application now.

3. will they ask more or all required documents in future? (police clearance, e-mediacal, marriage photos, fee receipt)

4. do i need to merge all documents and upload where they asked for marriage certificate attachement?

You have to inform IRCC right after the marriage. They generally ask for the below documents to start with.

• A new Generic Application Form for Canada (IMM 0008) with supporting documents,
• (If applicable) A Schedule A - Background/Declaration (IMM 5669) form,
• (If applicable) An Additional Dependants/Declaration (IMM 0008DEP) form,
• (If applicable) A signed Additional Family Information (IMM 5406) form,
• A copy of the birth certificate, marriage certificate or proof of common-law relationship,
• A copy of the family member's valid passport,
• Police certificates for all countries where the family member over the age of 18 has lived for more than 6 months since turning 18,
• A letter of explanation, and
• If applicable, the proof of payment.

Someone needs to review the docs and then add your spouse to the application ( For me, it took 4 months but I have seen it happening in a week for some cases)
They need to give Bio metrics letter for your spouse and also request for medical.(Upfront medical will speed up this one)
Then medical/background/criminality checks should get completed for your spouse.

Expect some delays on your application, anywhere from 2 months(if you're lucky) to more than a year.

Hello All,
I am a May 2019 applicant. CEC category. Added spouse on July 2019.
She is in India and I'm in Canada.
Eligibilility passed; Criminality & Security still in progress; no ADR; no file movement after Feb 2020
My VO is Etobicoke. I hope her VO must be NDVO.
Anyone having a similar case?
Waiting for NDVO to open up to see any file movement.
