Validity of IELTS result if passport is renewd after IELTS results

Hi all

I have my IELTS results in Dec2018 with old passport no. valid during 2018 time. In Apr2019, I had to renew my passport and my new passport has the mention of the old passport number on the last page.

Will it cause any issue if passport no. mentioned in IELTS results is of the old passport but CIC EE application is done with new passport?.

IETLS results in normal case are valid for 2years thus normal case it would expire in Dec2020 but I am worried if the renewal of passport invalidates the IELTS results.?

Please guide.

No way, passport is identification that ur such and such person. When you upload your passport make sure you included passport pages for cancelled passport as well.

Thanks a lot. I will add my new passport which had cancelled passport no. attached just below IELTS results along with LoE. Hope they will consider.

i am assuming the officer Reviewing will have that basic sense, so Yes to cover yourself better to add LOE
