OINP will issue notifications of interest for Ontario’s Express Entry Human Capital Priorities stream

On August 26, 2020, the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) will issue targeted notifications of interest to candidates who may qualify for Ontario’s Express Entry Human Capital Priorities (HCP) stream.

You may apply to the HCP stream if you:

• receive a notificaition of interest on August 26, 2020
• can demonstrate that your work experience was in one of the eligible National Occupation Classification (NOC) codes listed below

If you receive a notification of interest, you don’t need to contact the program.

We will post the comprehensive ranking system range of the draw on the Express Entry Notifications of Interest page on August 26, 2020. The OINP will target candidates with work experience in the following NOC codes:

• 0111 Financial managers
• 0124 Advertising, marketing and public relations managers
• 0601 Corporate sales managers
• 1111 Financial auditors and accountants
• 1114 Other financial officers
• 1122 Professional occupations in business management consulting
• 3012 Registered nurses and registered psychiatric nurses
• 3124 Allied primary health practitioners
• 3132 Dietitians and nutritionists

Your application may be refused if you don’t demonstrate work experience in one of the eligible NOC codes

Minimum is one year of experience to be eligible for EE and pnp's

Those are not required. When you first register, you are directed to an incorrect page. Login to the e-filing portal again and start a new FSW-HCP application.

@max04 From what I've heard, past recipients of an OINP NOI are unfortunately excluded in future draws, so that could be the reason.

Did you keep the same Express Entry profile you had when you received the NOI in February?

Don't forget about Foreign Worker and International Student streams which had 1300 and 1250 registrations respectively in July/August which are also part of the yearly allocation.

Are they part of the 7,500 quota? I didn’t know that. I thought the 7,500 was only for HCP, French and trade combined.

There is a difference between NOI and nomination. You're doing the wrong calculation here.

Not every applicant who received NOI will proceed with OINP application submission. So, nominations numbers will always be low as compare to NOI numbers. For example, on July 29, 2020, 1288 applicants received NOIs but this doesn't mean everyone will proceed with OINP submission. You can expect 60% of the nominations from these 1288 NOIs.

Similarly, today 703 NOIs have been issued. So, we can expect 400-450 nominations after 60-90 days.

Always remember, Ontario has nominations target not NOI so there will be one more General and Tech draw that we can expect to achieve 7500 annual nominations. Hope these calculation helps.

Yes they are, check the 2019 report on the updates page. Last year 6.9k NOI's were issued but only 2.7k were nominated under HCP stream.

Ok just read that table from the year end report, thanks. Right, so with 4,800 already issued + whatever nominations would come from the last tech draw and today’s draw + the foreign workers and students (which I guess would have a high conversion rate from registration to nomination), the program might reach its quota soon. Can’t be sure of another draw this year.

Alihamdulilah. Now that I have this at hand, I will wait to see my IELTS results. If I max out and could raise my CRS to 474, I will wait for next week's general draw. If the cut off is favourable, I will save my $1500 and apply directly but if either the IELTS or CRS is not favourable, OINP it is! But all in all, I am grateful for having a headway after the heartache of losing points due to age.

Dear all, please is it possible to have all the criteria and crs score for oinp and not receive noi. The noc is included in the selection criteria. Please help. Asking for a friend
