Processing time after receiving Biometrics Correspondence letter

Hello Everyone,

My husband's employer has applied for a closed work permit for him and an open work permit for me. We are currently in USA and we completed our Biometrics on July 14th, 2020. We have also received our Biometrics Correspondence letter couple of days back but there has been no further updates. Our permits were applied in 2 week processing (guess that's irrelevant due to COVID-19). Can anybody guide us if they have had similar experience and how long did it take for them to receive a response?

Even my current employer applied for a work permit in Canada for me as an internal transfer to the Canada office from the US. And I believe my application falls under GSS because in my IMM 1295 for Q)What type of work permit you are applying for? A: Exemption from LIMA.
And below are my timelines. No update as of today after correspondence.
Online Application Submitted: 02/28/2020
Request for Biometrics: 03/02/2020
Biometrics Completed: 03/16/2020
Biometrics Correspondence (completion confirmation): 07/23/2020

My company also applied for a closed work permit for me.I am currently in USA and completed my Biometrics on 23rd July,2020. My worked permit is applied in 2 week GSS processing. I am still waiting for any response from CIC .

Biometrics Correspondence: July 24th, 2020
Approval letter received: August 12th, 2020

We did not apply for GCMS notes or any request to expedite the processing.
