Hours reduced by Covid-19

Total number of hours for my work year over 1500 (working overtime prior to COVID-19) but during covid lost my full time status and working only 20-30 hours bi-weekly for 3-4 months.
I am applying express after getting PNP.

Do I need to write a letter of explanation pointing towards Covid for reduced work and hours?

Does your experience pre Covid cover the duration you're claiming as experience in your profile?

Yes it does

You can have your reference letter state your pre covid hours from the time you started and then your post covid hours from whenever they came in effect.

If your company can give you a letter stating the change in hours, you can include that.

Or, provide the letter/notification you received from the company regarding this change.

Otherwise, write an LoE to explain.

Would contact the provincial PNP program and ask if there is leniency for your situation. If there isn’t then there is no point applying right away.

I did call CIC they said there is leniency towards any COVID related things like number of hours, document submission time and other stuff.

Meant contact the province. CIC customer service is unreliable.

Did they approve your nomination after your hours were reduced? Is this time period with reduced hours needed for your PNP?

It was not needed for PNP
Pnp got approved for my First year at work.
And these reduced hours are in my 2nd year of work.
Now I am applying express
