Hello, i need help to prove my sibling to CIC, I am posting this for guidance.

I was invited to apply for PR using CEC pathway, but i am having difficulties proving my sibling. to fill you in a little bit,

I have a half-sister (We both have/share the same father), she is a Canadian citizen with a passport and everything. However, she seems to have lost her birth certificate and lease contract, she cannot find them anywhere. So i am a bit confused and lost on how to prove "siblincy" without birth certificate of hers and her residency without a lease contract.

Now that you have been filled in, these are my questions;

The documents required from me are the following; but what do they mean ??

  1. Proof of PR/Citizenship of sibling ----------> I am submitting her Canadian passport for this. is that good enough ?
  2. Proof of residency In Canada of sibling ----------> I am submitting her Work contract, Driving license, and her recent internet bill ??
  3. Proof of sibling relationship ----------> I am not really sure, I am thinking about submitting the passports of mine, her's and the father's. in addition of a flowchart that i have made ??
  4. Family member proof of status ----------> what is this ?
Are the files i am submitting good enough or what ?

Proof of being siblings, the easy one if the Birth Certificate. Even if lost, you should be able to get a new one, that's usually the case. This may be a bit difficult right now because of COVID.

Residence, anything will make it. A letter from employer, utility bills, bank statements... there are many options here.....

Question, do you need these 15 points to remain above the cutoff? if not, then don't bother....

Answer to your questions:
  1. Yes, the passport will make it.
  2. Answered above (utility bill, letter from employer, etc.)
  3. You need a documents that identifies the same person as your father --> Birth Certificate is ideal, some countries have this information in the passport, national ID document, etc. You need to both have the same person listed as your father....
  4. Same as 1, it's a glitch.....

Yes sir i do need the 15 points to stay above it.

1- thank you
2- As I wrote i am submitting the 3 documents i have letter from her employer, Internet bill ( is this utility ? ) , and her driving license. I hope they are enough
3- Unfortunately, It is impossible at the moment to get a new Birth Certificate from her end. However, in our Native passports they write the name in both English & Native Language ( Arabic ), we share the same father's name in our native language its literally identical. However, the officer who wrote/made the name in English in the passport, made a mistake with 1 letter. for in the father's english name.
4- So just upload the passport again ?

  3. That should work, make sure to explain this thoroughly. Maybe affidavits could work too.

Hi,
I applied for pr under CEC, My brother's proof of residency I uploaded 1) Bank statement 2) Canada Driving Licence.

But Yesterday Ircc sends one request letter saying that: Sibling- Residence CDA: Please provide proof of your sibling’s/family member’s residence in Canada, other than a provincial driver’s license, bank statement, or cell phone bill, which confirms their current place of residence.

Please help me with what Documents can I submit ( I have my brother's T4) urgently.
