Hello

I have tried several times with HR to obtain as accurate similar to NOC list as possible, but to no avail.
I just have concerns over my reference letters from 2 large hospitals. Worked 3 years in total. They only describe my job in a very generic and vague manner. They just copied and pasted job postings to show my "duties and responsibilites". Thus, it hardly matches what I actually did with NOC code. You know like administer meds, assist patients in activities of daily living, communicate with healthcare personnel, conduct speciment collection, perform asceptic precedure for wound care and so on. I have none of these but these:

- Working as a member of an Interprofessional team to provide quality care to the medically complex patient population
- Responsible for the provision of nursing care, teaching and coaching to patients and their families
- Responsible and accountable for the provision of nursing care in accordance with the standards of nursing practice and THP Best Practice Protocols

Will they reject my application based on these insufficient duties? Would they make efforts to check my duties with my employers instead of rejecting outright? Or being a medical/surgical nurse(department is medicine unit) should suffice my work without details of my duties? Otherwise, I provided all necessary documents.

Shed a light on this issue please fellow nurses and CEC buddies?
