IRCC verification of work experience letter

I know that IRCC may contact the company that I was working for, to verify my experience letter, and that is fine. But I don't like my colleagues or my supervisor know that I'm using my work for immigration purposes. Can I explain this to the officer in my LOE and ask him if he wanted to verify my work experience, don't tell to my supervisor that this inquiry is for EE? Like he can tell it is for Tax or whatever. I don't think they would lie though.

What exactly is unlikely to happen? You mean if I ask the officer to not mention that the verification is for immigration, he wouldn't listen?

Yea, I know, I am providing work experience letter from the company I was working for, as well as my tax reports. I just don't want to risk my reputation in that company.

Life's a risk. But speaking of risk management, why call attention to your employment when there is a very, very, very, small possibility of your concern materialising.

Yea, but do you think it is worth it to ask officer to simply not mention that is for immigration? Just refuse to tell the reason of verification ))

I meant mentioning it in my LOE in my application,, just as a simple note, and was asking if they can simply refuse to give details of verification to my supervisor.. But I don't think it worth any more. Thx

This is likely to be sent or if they call this is what they would enquire
