No, they didn't. I don't know what is it but no file numbers were given to me. Can you please tell what is it?

I explain the situation, told them that according to the tracking number the application was delivered on Jan 21. Also, told them that some people that I know, already received AOR's and they applied in February. The officer on the phone only changed my address cuz I recently moved and informed to stay patient...

How could they change address without your file in the system. Did you change your mailing address or home address or both?

I received an AOR today. I sent my application on Jan 15, 2020 and it was received on Jan 20, 2020.

Please update me in the spreadsheet.

Well, we all are anxious and tired of waiting without even AOR for 6-7 months hence spending lot of time in this forum tracking the movements. So any update on movement of next stage is spreading like fire but wrong date is confusing others. I agree this is the first time hence i agree with you.

Today in Feb2020 tab, i could see another update with Inprocess date which is earlier than AOR date. I am thinking that some are copy pasting while updating AOR or something else is happening while doing the update(either copy paste issue or some formula populating dates).

How could they change address without your file in the system. Did you change your mailing address or home address or both?

Well since I gave them my UCI number, they updated my application from previous applications like PR, Work and Study visas.
I did change both of my home and mailing addresses.

Had the same issue and did request them to change the address and they changed it quickly.

It doesnt matter if you give uci number or they searched based on your name. If application is not there in the system at the pre-stage AOR, they cannot certainly update your records. They cant simply update your home and mailing address of your PR/work/study application which is of no use and its already closed and complete and they wont update it (at least i hope that they wont). I still doubt that they are maintaining a profile based on your UCI and accept changing addresses anytime we want unless there is a pending application with immigration. This is my thoughts. I dont know if i am wrong but thinking that you have your application loaded into the system but AOR is not issued which is one way good because you will soon get your AOR. good luck.

Not necessarily. My info has been loaded in the system as I mentioned here before. But I haven’t gotten AOR yet (counting 4 weeks already).
When I called them first time about 3-4 weeks ago - they were able to update my address (also was wrong) based on my UCI.

Correct, they load the information before AOR for sure if application is complete and if not they return. Applications are getting returned few weeks before AOR period which is what we could see as Mar getting applications returned this month.

Was that wrong address is your citizenship address or old PR address? Too much paper work hence wrong information.

Yes address was wrong and they uploaded my file twice, so when I login in eCas I see two lines with my name and link « Application received ». The agent also updated my phone numbers (I had some outdated since my PR application) and checked if my email on file is correct.

So this means that we have our profiles that have old immigration application(which was of PR) and they will replace after citizenship application is sent. But i think that in your case its half way through and not completely updated i guess thats why you can view ecase and call center could even update address. But for us we cant even see ecas and call center cant update for many of the callers.

Well, Its all speculation at the end till we receive our AOR.
