And when my wife called to IRCC then she heard no need interviews in current Status

That is maybe b/c of covid. Limited staff and stuff like that. No1 got ppr since Feb I guess. No interviews have been conducted. Everything's on standstill.

I know a case when it read same "BGC not started" till interview date but after interview status read " Background was completed in DEC" that waas past year's DEC.

Most statuses would read " Interview is not required but if this changes we will notify you" That does not mean that interview is waived. This can only be confirmed from GCMS notes, where 1st officer recommends "recommended waiver" and then senior officer most cases follows the same with his own changed words about the case. Then PPR. So if a STATUS or an agent reads to some one no interview; this could be misleading somehow for us.

It may very well be continuous on the background , I guess they only change it when completed. May read above posts

Possibly in your case interview is waived or it is too early, or eligibility going on. I dont know your time line. I have seen interviews emails coming at 11th month even 12th and up. If you have a pre-arrival then NO interview

Medical request 10 October
File transfer to NDVO 5 November
Biometric request 18/11/2019 Biometric done 20/11/2019 Start processing from NDVO 22/11/2019 Medical results have been received 23/1/2020
After that no update
27/7/20 ordered gcms note
