Hello guys..
I have to upload PCC through web form.
While submitting the details it is asking for UCI number.
My UCI starts with CAN000012345678 And it's of 15 digits.
But the website allows to put only 10 digits.
How do I go forward.

As per my understanding if you are applying PR for the first time you will not have UCI nbr, once you get your PR then only you will have it and it can be used for future extensions.
Please confirm it though.

You can get letter from old colleagues, if possible get this letter notarized and provide letter of explanation. Along with it you can provide any proof showing company is no longer in business. Hope it helps.

Thanks Neha, should i get a letter from an old colleague on plain paper or on some letter head of his current employer? Secondly any idea what proof can be submitted in support of company closure. I worked with this company 5 years back.

It should be in plain paper. For proof on company closure see if you can get any internet article or news in any form. In my case, I worked for a company 6 years back and it got merged with another company after I left it, luckily I was able to get official merger document from my old colleague which was a perfect proof of merged company. Try reaching out to your old colleagues and see if you can get any proof from them.

Get the reference letter from ex colleague notarized on Rs100 stamp paper.

Try to get records for company closure available on public domain.

Yes.. compile all the relevant emails in a word & then to pdf and then share.
