I finally got my parents medical passed update today. It was a big relief as my father was referred to nephrologist and cardiologist due to slightly elevated creatinine level and early stage Ckd.
Now waiting for the final steps. Anyone got a passport request or approval letter recently?

Congratulations! It was a big relief after Medicals Passed .. hopefully you'll get a PPR soon. There is nothing yet on our side but still hopeful

I need some information about LICO and NOA requirements for Parents Supervisa
I am truck driver here in Ontario and working as self employed (has ON business #)
So my question is this must to have employment letter and pay stubbs? Or I need only NOA?

They've been open for a long time! Actually bnot sure if they've ever closed!
Medical Passed was on June 22
But we are keeping in mind that because of the fact that my parents are Syrians things might take longer .. it's just stressful for us because chances of approval are already not very high for Syrians as we've been told but we are keeping our fingers crossed

Hello, has anyone applied in Qatar vac for supervisa, my parents medicals was done upfront. The biometrics has been completed as well. How long would it take for the final ppr to arrive after these two have passed

My parents applied from Qatar on 12 March and completed their biometrics on 17 March. Medical request was received in June and Medicals Passed on 22 June. No updates ever since.
No one can tell you how long it's taking even IRCC can't! Their website is not even showing any processing time for super visa applicants from Qatar!
(But please note my parents are Syrians and we were told things could take longer for them anyway)

As far as I know applications from qatar , Oman and other GCC countries go to Abu Dhabi for passport stamping. Their timeline is showing 217 days for super visa but that is because I think no passport was stamped or PPR sent after March . So I won’t hold my breath for a decision anytime soon if I have just applied

Just a doubt we do have VAC in Qatar, so did you select Abu Dhabi as your VAC or Doha?

A Visa Apication Centre (VAC) is different from a Visa Office (VO). Yes there is a VAC in Doha, but only to facilitate visa applications such as collect biometrics and send/ receive passports to/ from the VO where they get stamped.
Usually Qatar applications are processed in the Abu Dhabi VO.

I received the correspondence letter in the CiC account today for my parents super visa. How long after correspondence letter you receive approval. I remember some people getting approval next day or same day of correspondence letter for biometrics. Is it a good sign.. thank you

Also a positive thing is that the correspondence letter came from Abu Dhabi and the previous update of medical request came from Canada. So the file was moved to Abu Dhabi for passport stamping I assume otherwise the rejection letter could have come straight from Ottawa. Keeping finger crossed and hoping to get the decision in the next week

Wow! that is a great news! I know these correspondence letters are sent when decision has been made so hopefully you'll get a PPR any minute now! Best of luck and please do keep us updated..
