I am inland paper based applicant. I got my AOR in March 3rd 2020. Recently, got my PAL.

Should I go with upfront medical? How is the procedure? Also, is upfront medical even allowed without getting a MR?
If you want you can. The recommendation is to go if your timeline has less than one year to finish, because the tests are valid for one year. If you don't get PR before, you would have to repeat the exams.
To do it, you contact a panel physician and tell them you want to do upfront medicals. Some panels are not accepting upfront.
Once you go, when the results are ready, they send them to IRCC and with your name and passport they are linked to your profile

It's not required.
The valid date for them is when your application was received. Your nomination must be valid at that date (AR)

What if our nomination is expired and we need to resubmit the application because of some mistake we did in the application and IRCC returns the application?

In that case, I don't know. You should ask to your province.

12 months will be left from next month (Sept). I just hope IRCC doesn't make a deal if I do upfront medical.

What document should I take with me if I have to go for upfront medical and show them? passport, file #??

Is it safe to use GCMS notes? Will it affect the process in any way? Will there be any negative consequences?
Not at all. It's totally secure and is your right

Hi
I submitted PR Family Sponsorship application on June 14 and it was delivered by courier two days later but I still have not received letter with acknowledged receipt. Is that normal? It’s been now two months and I am worried it was not delivered or the application went missing

any thoughts appreciated

It took 1-3 month before the outbreak. Now no one knows, it seems 3-5 months when you get an email from ircc.
