Here comes the another statement from ircc. I hope this time, they're serious about it:
They said on the phone that Sydney office would reopen in January 2021, so we have to wait 5 more months.

Totally 2000 staff, only 30 of them are working, and you call it open? This is a joke.Syndey office is open, i think only 30 officers are going out of 2000.Someone called ministers officer and told him, but whom did u talk?
2020 is a joke for everyone except few extremly lucky people.Totally 2000 staff, only 30 of them are working, and you call it open? This is a joke.
these 30 staff are like nothing, compared with 2000 staff. In my opinion, they still remained closed since March.
We shouldn’t be like this bad luck, cos’ they can process our files at home but they just don’t. This is not what we have got to deserve, this is not fair.2020 is a joke for everyone except few extremly lucky people.
0.6 million are died already and its still going.millions lost their families n jobs.

At least, it’s not 2000 employees... If they have 2000 employees, paper PNP could take less than a year. LOL.Currently, there are 667 employees who work at the case processing centre in Sydney. The number of employees who are working remotely and in the office are expected to fluctuate daily.
Overall, Caron didn’t confirm how many employees were not currently working.
The Post has learned some workers are expected to return to the Sydney office on July 7 on a piloting project under new COVID-19 health and safety building requirements.
Information obtained by the Post says some employees working in the express entry, citizenship as well as data entry and scanning departments are expected back in the office on the date. However, only a certain number of people will be allowed in the building at a time.
No timeline was provided as to when all employees may be able to return to the office on a regular basis.
If that’s the case, I would come to Sydney and volunteer to scan our files. LOL.Someone in this forum called ircc, and they told him at least to wait 4 or 5 months for update.
