Well then name and shame them to be exposed, I am absolutely certain that CSBA and CIC is roaming these forums.
If you think CBSA officers have time to scour some immigration forum looking for members to name and shame then all of us are in bigger trouble then we thought

This forum is full of consultants and advisors fishing for applicants. So is CBSA and CIC to identify and verify stories. Perhaps not in this time of understaffing and overtime on their end but absolutely at all other times. Even I as casual reader came across multiple individuals in the EE and PR sections who obviously lied about some significant enough issues that would get them banned for sure. Some of them so openly shared their profiles that it would take any agent minutes to identify the individual. I noticed how you often times put up some claims and each time when asked for references and evidence you back off and play ignorant. You have more than 1400 posts in a short few months. That's a hell of a lot for someone who can't be bothered to substantiate some wild claims. I don't mean to come across as being combative but the main issue I see with this forum is that a lot of people pull some claims out of thin air and when asked for factual backup they laugh it off and stay silent.

I literally see so many posts like this everywhere these days.

It's not fair that some international students are not allowed to board a flight & are forced to start studying from home due to online classes being "non-essential" for entry, but others who somehow reach there get entry easily ( though they too have online classes ).

Not saying those cases don't exist though it does not appear on a massive scale at all. Also this guy Sounds dodgy. He keeps on repeating his agent and mentions his phone number on many occasions. It sounds more like someone pushing agency services than anything else. I light be wrong but generally I have a pretty good hunch about snake oil salesmen.

Immediately found this one -

In the replies to comments, this person says that classes were all online. But that the college still gave a letter saying that his presence is mandatory. He's replied to all questions people have asked & it's a long conversation on a twitter post.

If there are any posts where I have misled or given incorrect information, let me know. Otherwise, like I said, you are welcome to believe me or not. I always say I am only given my opinion based on my observations. This isn't an academic paper where I need to cite my sources

Yes that happens, and there seems to be a pattern. The more conservative the Port of entry, politically, and the smaller the port of entry the more border agents seem to be lenient about the essential travel issue. It appears that those particular border agents are not all that concerned about the essential travel issue but all insist on quarantine plans. Those are all just my own observations not facts.

Another one. Here apparently, there were no questions asked at all at the border about whether classes are online or in-class.

Yes I understand what you're saying. I also realize that potentially everything we come across online may be suspect.

As two of you here pointed out, this could very well be a fake, misleading post.

What is concerning is that there's a constant inflow of information like this, with at least a few students posting nearly daily that they've entered with fully online classes & weren't asked anything at all.

For example, here too, the OP's wife was allowed entry with online classes without being questioned about the "essential" purpose condition. Whereas OP was sent back saying presence is non-essential.

I know I could be totally wrong in assessing these things now. I wish I could get some clarity from IRCC on their website.

Sure that's easy, post #30 and post #31.

You claim tons of colleges issue those letters then you name one incident. When asked where you get that many colleges issue those letters... Silence.

Then next post you make a direct connection with this issue and why many of those international graduates can't find jobs. There are a million reasons why they can't find jobs. Certainly the one you hinted at is not even in the top 20 of most relevant reasons...

You made different claims in several threads and make it sound as if you talk about facts when in reality it is just your opinion. It would be much more helpful to everyone if we can all state its our opinion because else it is extremely misleading. You made similar claims about how border agents behave. How would you know. Are you one yourself? Were you in the border agent training academy? Have you faced the issuance of a study permit at the border so many times that you can speak with a degree of authority on this issue or was that simply your own individual opinion and feeling on it? Big difference.

One more here. Not saying I believe everything that's put up online but still just thought I might as well post this here...

Aren't we all blessed to have you police the forums. I hope you can ask everyone on his forum for a source every time they claim or give an opinion. That would be very helpful. Thanks!

Most people acknowledge the source or state its their opinion. That is what normal, intelligent people do. You come across as being intelligent from the posts I read by you. Why not conduct yourself as one instead of shooting from the hip and being snarky?
