if you will deffere you will automaticly rejected because stage 1 and sage 2 process is only fot Fall intake and tgat also for those who will apply before 15 sep
On what basis did you get this answer? What about those people who received AIP and need laboratory for the fall which they instead chose to defer to winter 2021? They will also be rejected?

It is illogical bro, how can delayIng study be the cause of rejection of permission to be eligible and that too in these difficult times?

Also the woman stated in the webinar that if you defer your intake, you can just inform IRCC about your deferral. It’s normal pre covid that one defers because his permit is not given before the start of classes. They either extend their study permit or IRCC asks them for the deferred LOA so that the issuance dates of the study permit is still accurate.

hi i
hi i am planning to defer to winter sem as well, i submitted complete application on march but received AIP, that too on a email reply after raising an webform. i'm a little skeptical about the stage 2 as well. why would they initiate a two stage approval system if international students are restricted to travel anyways?
I think it is good to defer, as colleges still didn't reveal how they will deliver next semester. I am also worried, if my college decide to deliver next semester also online then ........ ?

Is there anyone here who is in the same boat as me that already has an AIP but still going to defer to winter intake?
I don't think there is anything to worry about to start on Fall but if you are still concerned Order GCMS notes and check the notes of the officer..if eligibility passed nothing to worry about

Did you already receive your AIP? Did you originally apply for may intake or september intake? Answering these questions would help me a lot. Hahaha
Originally for Sept intake... Was able to asked for deferral and received my new LOA 3 days before I got my AIP..
