All tests are cancelled now ... You can't have AOR before test.I am not bothered to wait for AOR if they send me AOR and test date email both at once
I agree. Another case in point is with PR cards. They put 299 days a few weeks ago. There was media attention and they changed the number to 130 days and have slowly trickled it upwards. The number is 160 days now. This was only done to change the optics and to buy time. There was no logic on how they came up with the 130 days number. There is another theory that they are just issuing AOR here and there just to buy themselves time for testing to get open again.
That exactly what i sayed on this other topics .. If we dont do anything, we can wait years and yearsI agree. Another case in point is with PR cards. They put 299 days a few weeks ago. Bottom line is:
-There is no real plan
-Most officials are taking summer off and are refusing to go back to office based on the pandemic. This is so wrong when almost everyone else is back at work and schools are opening
- This is only going to get worse unfortunately
-As the PR card example noted above implies lack of integrity and lack of accountability with the whole process. I know there are those on the forum who will tell us it is a privilege, go back to your country, stop complaining e.t.c but we need to call this out otherwise we will be the ones dealing with this over the next several years. A national election is coming and the bureaucrats will waste more time as there will be no pressure on them and lack of accountability to do their jobs
-I also feel the individuals defending CIC on these forums are likely connected with CIC/IRCC somehow
Did you call IRCC for temporary file number and for them to see if your file is in there system ?My application was delivered on Feb 10th and I still haven't received an AOR :-(
Not yet... I will call them tomorrow. Is it possible for them to reject your application without sending you AOR?Did you call IRCC for temporary file number and for them to see if your file is in there system ?
Is your acknowledgement saying about Feb date or Jan date?Received my AOR at 6:01 pm today, Original application was sent in October 2019 but was sent back and then the modified application was received by IRCC on February 24th. I should also point it out that I sent 2 packages, January 31st (lost the tracking) so I sent another one on Feb 20th (Received 24th)
why did you send out 2 packages and what was the issue in 1st ?Received my AOR at 6:01 pm today, Original application was sent in October 2019 but was sent back and then the modified application was received by IRCC on February 24th. I should also point it out that I sent 2 packages, January 31st (lost the tracking) so I sent another one on Feb 20th (Received 24th)
I didn't see any date on AOR other than today's date. Where can i find that, I just called IRCC this afternoon and they responded that file is in the system and email might be coming anytime, so I took the opportunity to ask if its Jan or Feb so I can update the folks on this Forum. Is your acknowledgement saying about Feb date or Jan date?
No Issue at all, Just lost the tracking number and I didnt wanted to take any chances as my file was returned once already, it costed 70 bucks for sure, but bought peace of mind.why did you send out 2 packages and what was the issue in 1st ?
Can you tell me why your 1st application sent in Oct 2019 was rejected/returned ?No Issue at all, Just lost the tracking number and I didnt wanted to take any chances as my file was returned once already, it costed 70 bucks for sure, but bought peace of mind.
Quite some counter-revolutionary thoughts you're spreading here, friend. I like you!I agree. Another case in point is with PR cards. They put 299 days a few weeks ago.
