Hello Guys
I got acceptance from NBCC for fall 2020 intake, I applied for study permit one month ago and waiting
the college said to me that i can not enter Canada if I don't have study permit approval before 18th of march and I have to defer it to fall 2021 intake
so in this case what's gonna happen with study permit application ? can i get approval and use it for next intake or I have to apply again?

You have to apply again or you can update your current application through webform of new LOA

so i can not use port of entry letter to go there and extend study permit ?
and how can i update my letter of acceptance after submitted the application ?

Hey! Which campus/program? I got accepted by NBCC as well and still waiting for visa. In the webinar they mentioned that you wouldn't have to apply again, you can use the old one but make sure you enter Canada before your visa expires. Then when you get there, you'll just extend the study permit and you're good

I have applied my sister's study visa application online on 5th March,2020. Her biometrics were done on 9th march,2020 and medical was also done as her intake was April 2020. Since then we haven't received any update due to COVID-19 lockdown. Now we have checked on portal that her medical have been passed on 26th June,2020 and we are planning to defer her for next intake i.e October 2020. Please guide me; is there any chances of her visa approval and how much more time we have to wait for her visa approval? She has applied in university of Canada West for MBA. Please help and guide

We cannot predict anything. However, most Master's and PhD programs are being given Approval in Principles

no idea why they told you that. doesn't make sense
