Hey, hope everyone's doing good.

I had been selected for Humber GBM May 2020 (Defered to September 2020 & further deferred to January 2021) but Visa has been rejected twice despite being an ideal candidate. (Age 22)

Reason for refusal (both times)- {SDS Category}

• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on the purpose of your visit.

1- Full year Tuition fees paid

2- GIC Paid (CIBC)

3 - IELTS 7 (WITH 6+ IN EVERY BAND)

4- FINANCIALS (ITR SINCE 2017 (50 LAC/Year)/SALARY SLIPS/SPONSORSHIP AFFIDAVIT)

5 - SOP (RESUMPTION LETTER stating I will join this organisation back after my studies in Canada FROM CURRENT EMPLOYER WAS PROVIDED AS WELL)

6- Previous Degree - Business Management (UK based degree in India) {Graduated in 2019}

7- Medical passed

8- 10th - 67% CBSE/ 12th Science 60%

Is it worth filing via attorney?
Requesting your feedbacks and suggestion as to how can I manage to get the study permit.

Thank You.

It would seem that you were refused because the visa officer is not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay. If that's the case you were correctly refused.

Your purpose of visit is suspicious and does not seem like you're a genuine student. Applying twice and getting refused for the same reasons also show you're desperate and not really interested in studying.

Apply for gcms notes.

Thank you for you reply, but I genuinely intend to pursue my education in the Canadian premises.
Re-filing was done in the interval of 1 month.

Also, may you link me to GCMS notes web portal.
Thank you.

Visa Filing 1 - February
Visa Filing 2 - March

1 month interval.

I'm planning to give my third attempt this month (FOR JANUARY 2021 intake.)
The time interval between your visa rejection is very small,it shows that your second application is no different from your first.i suggest you to work more on your sop if you want to change the VO mind.good luck

Hire a lawyer then, if you have reason to believe that the visa officers evaluation is wrong.

Generally a purpose of visit rejection is related to your choice of program. Can you explain about your previous study of business management (was the program graduate or post graduate) and what was your score/percentage?

Hi Singh,

I'm so sorry to hear about your SP application rejections. Never give up , try again with a solid SOP.
Refusal based on purpose of visit is usually vagueness of your intention to study in Canada (SOP problem).
Firstly , you need to order GCMS notes , study the VO officer's concerns and answer each clearly.
Be precise , specific and factual in your writings.

I believe your next Application will be approved if you draft a strong SOP after knowing the VO's comments .

All the best in your next Application.

Cheers!

I am sorry to hear your refusal.. Get GCMS notes to know the actual reason before re-applying.

However, if I look at your profile:

Your proposed study does not seem like reasonable in the eyes of the VO. It is not a career progression.
Like you already have a UK based degree on Business Management, although taken in India it is UK based which is also one of the sought after in getting a degree, why would you need to complement it with Canadian degree of the same program (Global Business Management).

Whatever reason you have, it must make sense, show logical progression of your career. It should improve your abilities or fill a gap that you have from previous education.

Try to add more prospects in addition to going back to the same employer.

Goodluck!

As everyone mentioned above, DO NOT attempt to re-apply this month. You still have time for January 2021 intake. Take your time, order GCMS and apply in October. This will give you the time to understand the things thru GCMS. Update documents in your file so the next officer see the changes and not think that you are desperate. It will lead to visa rejection one more time.

In the end, its up to you if you want more rejections based on existing profile.
