Interview letter received from London Visa Office for family sponsorship

I'm in Pakistan karachi.. They gave me two options
1 come to London for interview
2 wait for 6 to 12 month for interview in Islamabad or Abu Dhabi when the officers will visit these areas...
And i have 7 days to tell them about my choice i want to go London But I'm worry about my London Visa i already have some friends there. Can anyone suggest something helpful.

why do you worry about your London visa? It is your decision in the end, whether you want to wait for longer period but stay at home or you going to London with shorter period.

I'm worried about the procedure of UK Visa is it easy to get london visa???
I don't have any travel history.

You have to consult British consular service in your city.

Hi, my husband got the same letter and we chose London so that we can get an interview sooner. My husband is from Egypt and I’m Canadian. We found out yesterday that his UK visa was denied. We are very upset. And now we have to wait for either Islamabad or Abu Dhabi and that will take another 6-12 months.

Why are they asking for an interview? Any red flags?
So sorry to hear that you have to wait this long. I cannot believe it will be that much longer.

Why can't they conduct an interview via Skype or some other medium instead of calling the applicant on his own expense at some remote location?

Because if they hold the interview via Skype, they have no control over who else is there offering answers. They want your answer to the questions. Not sure why everyone gets upset when they are called for an interview. It’s clearly stated that you may end up being called for one.

I was told by my lawyer that all interviews are conducted in person. And I was told that if You don’t attend in person your application automatically gets denied.

I have the same situation they said my interview will be conducted in next 6 months so don't know what to do but the London visa is hard to get specially in this situation everything is close due to virus so we don't have another choise expect for waiting

Yes. It’s is very hard to get but you can try. But now with everything going on they may not issue any but you can try.

WTF? They invite you for interview but wont give you a visa for it????

This doesn't sound right, why would they make it difficult to attend the interview? Any updates?
