Many of us have not yet received the AOR and the nomination will expire soon and not sure how long will it take for the AOR. What if we need to resubmit the application because of some mistake from us and by the time nomination expired? Will it be an issue? Will IRCC give any consideration in such cases?
I’m worried too

I think we need someone here from inland to ask for calling to IRCC and ask them directly about why they are not issuing any AORs since March. And when are they planning to restart process. Because they just frozen all AORs nobody knows for how long. is it 6 month pending for whatever reasons, or what is going on at all. So please, can somebody, who currently in Canada DO this and report here?

Called many times, always the same answer, “ due to covid19 we are short of staff, there is no time limit, just wait” these are the answers I’ve been getting every time..

Yes. The same, I've called two times, and sent the web for three times. Answer is the same "covid- 19". I'm sure that is BS, and they are hiding something. Yesterday I've read how LGBT and feminist whent to press for their rights to immigrate, and it seems to be working for them, at least their problem will be heard.
Maybe we should write to someone about our problem, because this is not due to covid, this is neglecting our applications on purpose, while they are publicly stating "welcome"....

Guys,

I have received the following in request letter from IRCC today. Could you please extend some inputs on it?

1: Marriage Certificate: Please submit a copy of your marriage certificate in the original language.

(Our marriage certificate is in English, but with this request from IRCC, I'm bit confused)

2: Schedule A: A separate and newly completed Schedule A Background Declaration form (IMM 5669) bearing an original signature.

(Should i only add the info for the requested period in the original form which i sent initially, or only the details of the missing period have, and what is mean by bearing an original signature?to be mentioned?

They're not hiding anything? They do not owe us anything so why would they hide. If Canada likes, they cancel the immigration process and refund payment. So we need to just be patient and not let this get into our heads.

Meanwhile, I do believe provincial nomination is valid as long as IRCC received your application before expiration. What is important is the date the application was received (AR) and not the date it was acknowledged (AOR). If you have a doubt, you can present your case to the nominating province.

You want to tell me that opening an envelope takes 6 months?
6 days I would understand, even 6 weeks...
If this keeps going at current pace, we will get the PR by year 2035.
And to be realistic, Pandemic was a surprise for two, three months, everyone adapted to the life with it by now.

I would imagine they just don't want to touch any envelope from all around the world until they have to. That's what government do, told people we are fine, go back to work but they haven't even started to work. I'm not refering the Canadian government specifically, all are similar.
